Lockleys Community Twilight Markets

We ran our first market stall on Friday 9 November  at the Lockleys Community Twilight Markets from 4.30pm until 8.30pm . The markets were located at St Richard's Anglican Church on the corner of May Terrace and Henley Beach Road, Brooklyn Park. 

We had a LOT of stock and we've learned that in future when we do markets we can probably get away with taking about half of what we took to this market. In the end we didn't sell a great deal but the opportunity to chat to the locals and let them know what we do and where we are was absolutely priceless! We met a lot of lovely people (including other stallholders), handed out a lot of flyers and business cards and will most likely have another stall at the same market in February. 

We also learned that running a stall with a 10 month old in tow is very tricky (though he is a crowd pleaser!). We started setting up at around 2pm and weren't home until around 9pm so that is a long day for anyone, even more so if your name is Nathaniel apparently!
