Cavalry Sword update- Up In Frames- Adelaide

Just a quick update on the 1853 British Cavalry Sword which I am framing up for my showroom.

It is taking me a while as I am only working on it between custom jobs.

I have stained and finished the timber box and added a couple of extra bits of timber for the hooks which the sword rests on.

I have had a polished silver plaque made up to match the chrome finish on the sword. Kicking myself a bit that I didn't put the British flag on one side of the writing!

The next step is to make a frame to go around the front which will have conservation quality glass which has a 99% UV rating and will protect the item from any sunlight.

I will post again once it is all finished.
